Description
Comprising a blue and white ovoid jar, decorated with blossoming plum branches against a 'cracked-ice' ground, 9.1/2 in. (24.3 cm.) high, 9.3/8 in. (23.8 cm.) wide; a small blue and white cylindrical tripod censer, decorated with flower pattern, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) diam, 4.1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) high; a small blue and white baluster jar and cover, decorated with blossoming prunus branches on a 'cracked-ice' ground, and each domed cover features a similar prunus pattern and a bud-form finial, 6.1/4 in. (15.9 cm.) high, 3.5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) wide; and a Chinese export famille rose teapot and cover, the body is decorated with flowers molded in high relief, the cover features a buddhist lion finial, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high, 7.1/2 in. (19 cm.) wide.
Condition
Blue and white jar: the body was broken and restored, with associated cracks, also few hairlines on the bottom; blue and white censer: good condition; blue and white jar and cover: restoration to the mouth with associated fine cracks, one extends to the body, and the cover is in good condition; famille rose teapot and cover: both teapot and cover were over-painted, especially to the handle sections, possibably restored, and chips to the high relief flower decorations.
