Northern Europe, England, Regency period, ca. 19th century CE. A wonderful ensemble of silver and glass vessels from the English Regency era: a sliver teapot, a silver deposit glass perfume bottle, a silver deposit glass lid, and a glass box with a hinged silver lid. The teapot, bottle, and lid are all ornately decorated with vine-like floral decoration enveloping the bottle and lid and the teapot displaying embossed garlands, stripes, and 2 tondos each containing a bust. Alternatively, the box presents minimal embellishments with 2 groupings of relief, horizontal striations along the body and a gently raised center on the silver-plated lid. Lid has glass broken on interior; other 3 are intact. All have expected surface wear with some light scratches and abrasions, but otherwise excellent presentation and patina in areas. Tea pot has "800," "R" in shield" and crown marks on underside of base, and perfume bottle is marked "STERLING SILVER DEPOSIT 47" on silver at bottom. Lid does not fit on bottle.
