Pair of Continental, likely Italian, carved wooden opposing putti in the Baroque taste, 19th century, each having a parcel gilt and polychrome painted finish, apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: figure with bracket h. 14.5", w. 14", d. 8"

Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.

Condition

Likely later over painted decoration, losses to both figures, cracks, one lacking a bracket, pleasing distressed finish.
