This work is a study for the final oil on canvas, Le Colosse de Rhodes, created for the 1956 film by Lowell Thomas, Seven Wonders of the World.

Signed and dated to lower edge 'Dali 1954'. Sold with a copy of a certificate of authenticity from Archives Descharnes.

This work will ship from Lambertville, New Jersey.

Work is in good condition and is laid to pressboard, preventing full inspection of verso. Work shows few minor surface losses to edges of lower half. Overall, work presents well. Framed behind glass measuring 34 x 21 inches.
