the brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds and date dials to the engraved centre mask, pierced brass spandrels, the arch set with a silvered signature roundel signed ‘Geo Young, Locherby’ flanked by a pair of pierced dolphin, the hood with broken swan neck pediment with engine turned brass roundels centred by an eagle finial, above a pierced foliate frieze, the dial flanked by Doric half columns with brass capitals, the trunk with shaped arch door on a plain plinth base on bracket feet, the twin train movement striking a bell
