Rebacked preserving the original spine, tips restored, hinges reinforced with cloth tape (some wear, soiling to binding, hinges starting, occasional mild thumbsoiling in text, folding maps and plates and frontispiece and engraved title-page all mounted on cloth, two plates repaired and restored).
