Howard Watch Company was one of worlds finest watch factories. Even Patek Philippe tried to match their excellence in production and finish. Howard, by the way, is the only American Watch to ever meet the engineering criteria of the renowned "Geneva Seal" watches made in Geneva Switzerland. Watches meeting the Geneva Seal criteria, while being made in Geneva, had to meet rigorous design features which only were met by one American Watch Company, this model, made by Howard. This watch was originally produced as a pocket watch but it has been converted to a wrist watch with a custom made exhibition case.
