Patek Philippe 425J Tegolino Art Deco watch, measuring 42.5 x 20.5. The watch is fitted with a 9"90 caliber movement # 833788, case# 622162. The dial is a silver with lapped gold indexes. The watch is fitted with a brown crocodile strap. The watch is further accompanied with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture in 1940 and further sale in 1941.

The 425 was launched in 1934 and remained in production until 1960 when it was replaced by the slightly larger reference 2461.
Together with the legendary Calatrava reference 96, This Reference 425 is and was one of Patek Philippes most popular wristwatches. It is a typical Art Deco architectural design serving as inspiration for the firms other rectangular models of the time. It is fitted with the celebrated rectangular-shaped caliber 9-90, Patek Philippe?s finest non-circular movement of the period.
