Let us teach you a lesson in history, in 1904, Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont, which was to tell time while flying. It sealed the bonds of friendship between these two great pioneers of that time and resulted in the birth of one of the first ever wristwatches. Now, one of the coolest things about the Iced Out Cartier Santos 100 Chronograph is the movement. Not too long ago, Cartier modified its 1904-CH MC caliber so that the start-stop pusher is now on the left side of the case, centered on matching the crown, and the reset function was also integrated into the crown itself. The result is that Santos 100 Chronograph now became both technically interesting & ergonomically advantageous, not to mention it gives the case a beautiful sense of symmetry that?s often lacking in many other sports watches. Plus, the seamless curve of the horns, the round angles of the dial & exposed screws make this an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations for time to come.
