This is a wonderful watch with two legendary houses involved. Firstly, Agassiz in Switzerland was a legendary house producing high grade watches and pocket watches for the worlds most renowned jewelers, including Tiffany, Caldwell, Shreve and all the other famous American houses. This piece is entirely hand made and you can tell the quality just by looking at it. Impressively the case is a screw back model with was extra resistance to water and moisture. We seldom see watches from this era with screw backs. The watch keeps excellent time and can be worn all the time for all types of events.
