Description
The print shows the morning and is part of a series representing the progress of the day. The prude is crossing Covent Garden Piazza, disapproving of the amorous scenes outside the notorious Tom King's Coffee House. This engraving was published in 1807. The original was by William Hogart and the engraving was done by Thomas cook in 1797. The framed engraving is approx 11 5/8" x 5/8" x 13 3/4" and it weighs 1.32lb. The print is approx 6" x 7". The framed print is in a good, vintage condition with some markings on the matting and some discoloration on the print. Please see the images as they are part of the description.
