WWII GERMAN POSTAL PROTECTION DAGGER by WEYERSBERG
WWII German Postal Protection Service Officer's Dagger. Double edged, bright blade with visible crossgrain. Acid etched maker mark of Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen. Leather buffer pad present. Nickel-silver plated hilt with swastika emblem on both sides of the crossguard. Wood grip with nickel-silver Postschutz emblem on one side. Stamped "1404" and "DPR" under the guard. Silver and orange thread portepee. Black painted steel scabbard with nickel-silver plated fittings and chain hanger.

Very good. Light runners marks and small nicks on blade edge. Light finish wear on hilt and scabbard.
