The album featured the hits "Look Away" (which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart), "I Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love" (#3), and "You're Not Alone" (#10). Later, the track "What Kind of Man Would I Be?" would also become a hit, hitting #5 in 1990. The album reached #37 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. By early 1989 the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million sold.

Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA Gold award that would have been manufactured in 1988, making it 35 years old. It is presented to radio programming executive Jhani Kaye.

The award is in Excellent condition with only very minor mars on the frame and plexiglass. This award has its' original back with Fitzgerald Hartley manufacturer sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
