A VICTORIAN SILVER MUG
indistinct overstruck maker's mark, London 1866, retailer's signature of Elkington & Co, Manchester, chased beads forming arabesques and cartouches, interspersed by flowerhead roundels, leaf-capped scroll-form handle, engraved with a crest and the motto VINCIT OMNIA VERITAS above three engraved initials. 9cm high, 6.6 troy ounces
The marks are clear but for the maker's mark. In good condition commensurate with age.
