AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SILVER AND ENAMEL DOUBLE PHOTOGRAPH FRAME
935 grade, the rectangular case opening to reveal two picture frames with oval apertures surrounded by floral engraved corners, the case decorated with bright blue guilloché enamel to the cover, base and sides. 9.4cm by 6.5cm, 6 troy ounces gross
The marks are clear. It is stamped 935 and STERLING, with a sponsor's mark. The enamel on the cover and base fronts up well, but light scratches are visible under a loupe. There is a tiny loss of enamel to the tip of one of the slender bands to the front. The hinge is in good order, and the cover closes well. In generally good condition commensurate with age and use.
