ca. 1910; the scroll- and shield-form brooch centering a cushion-cut Kashmir sapphire weighing 4.22 cts. surmounted by 11 bezel-set old European-cut diamonds weighing approx. 0.12-1.00 ct.; further set throughout with old mine- and old European-cut diamonds weighing approx. 11.00 tcw.; 21.98 dwts.; 1 7/8 x 4 1/4 in.

Sapphire measuring 9.25 x 7.91 x 6.24 mm.; approx. diamond grade G-I, VS/SI. Overall good original condition; brooch finding likely replaced.
