Private Scottish Collection, Fife; Inherited from current owner's great aunt. Inscribed in the interior of boards ‘cleaned, mounted & matted F.W. Dalloff October 1974’. Likely refers to Francis W. Dolloff (1908-2006), a restorer of prints and drawings at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
