Description
This beautiful engraving was printed after the original linocuts done by Pablo Picasso for the work Linogravures. The work was printed in Paris in 1962 by Editions Cercle d'Art. Wilhem Boeck had written an introduction of the work that was translated by Jacques Chavy.
Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theater designer. Most of his career was spent in France. He was one of the most eminent artists of the 20th century. He is arguably the most important figure to art and art movements in the 1900s.
