NOT ELIGIBLE FOR IN-HOUSE SHIPPING. DESCRIPTION: Reproduction of Apollo from the Belvedere Marble statue. Original is in Vatican Museum. Depicts Apollo as a hunter defeating the serpent Python with bow and arrow. Believed to be a Roman copy of an original bronze statue created between 330 and 320 B.C. by Greek sculptor Loechares. Marble statue sitting on concrete base. MEASUREMENTS: Overall 27-1/2" wide x 27-1/4" deep x 75" high. Statue 16-1/2" wide x 19-1/2" deep x 57" high. CONDITION: Dirt and wear consistent with outside display. NOTE: Buyer to remove from pick up location by appointment only at a property in Harrisburg, PA. Address to be provided to purchaser.
