Named after the 'rue de Capucines' in Paris, where Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854, the Capucines BB bag is timeless and elegant. Paying homage to the history of superb craftsmanship that the house of Louis Vuitton is known for, the Capucines has refined details such as jewel-inspired rings at the base of the semi-rigid handle that has subtle Louis Vuitton engraved round studs. The distinctive flap can be worn two ways, outside to reveal the outline of a subtle Monogram flower, or inside to show the simple yet elegant Louis Vuitton initials. This is the second collabortaion between Louis Vuitton and the famed artist Yayoi Kusama and the bag features her iconic dots which were featured throughout all of her artwork. The dots appear in a whole spectrum of colors, screen-printed with a subtle relief effect on fine, supple Taurillon leather. Retail price is $8100.
