Vintage Floral Glove Clip, 1940's-1950's. These were quite popular back int he day when gloves were worn. I remember, as a child, seeing these in the 1950's into the 1960's when wearing white gloves were quite the thing for women - whether going to church, out to dinner, etc. This has a chain with swivel clasp that attaches to the purcse and then a hinged clip that hold the gloves together so they do not get lost - they'd be kept inside or outside of the purse for easy access. This is gold tone with a floral blosson on the front and back hinge. it is appx. 1.5" by 1" with a chain that is 2" long on each side. It has a rose design in the metal frame of the clip.
