Vintage Sterling Silver Amethyst Marcasite Brooch, 2" wide and 7/8" tall. The amethyst is appx. 1.4CT - it is 10mm by 8mm and bezel set, faceted on the very edges with a broad flat table. Marked .925 and tested. Weight is appx. 6.22 grams. It is not signed by the maker. Age uncertain but mid-century to post-mid century. Good to very good condition with light wear and oxidation but can be polished to be brighter. (INV. W.22020.1X1 SS 1361 J LD 5/22/20).
