Description
Antique Pink Lustreware Sugar Bowl
Pink Lustreware porcelain sugar bowl from the early-mid 1800s, made in England. The sugar bowl is decorated with a house, trees, and mountains, as well as a man's face with ram horns on either side.
Porcelain sets with the trademark pink designs that shine gold in the light were popular among middle-class people in England at the time, and were a result of innovations in glaze and firing techniques.
The sugar bowl is free of crazing, but there are some chips and cracks. The foot and lid both appear to have been repaired.
Approximate size: 4.25" x 4.25" x 2.5"
Approximate weight: 1 lb
