A processional weapon carried before a sultan or datu, in the form of A panabas axe. The blade with chamfered cutting edge and pierced work, engraved overall in okir motifs. With wooden expanding toward the pommel and inlaid with bone in geometrical motifs. Mid 20th century. Light wear. Overall length 93.5 cm / 36 3/4". Condition II
