Leonid Pavlovich Bessaraba, Soviet-Ukraine, 1936 - 2018, Taras Shevchenko, oil on canvas, signed verso Note: Bessaraba Leonid Pavlovich, who was born in 1936 in Nova Grebla village, Vinnitsa region, Ukraine. After finishing a Republican Art School, graduated from Kiev Art Institute in 1965. In 1965-1969 Bessaraba was teaching in Khmelnitsky Technological Institute. His works are in the Khmelnitsky Regional Art Museum. He was a member of Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1983.
