Inferno canto 28, The Divine Comedy, 1960. Woodcut on BFK Rives paper. Salvador Dali began the production of the prints for the Divine Comedy in in the 1950s. It took talented engravers almost four years to carve the 3500 separate blocks for the 100 prints that are in the book. Ref: Michler & Lopsinger 1066. 10.5x13inches
