A Chinese mother-of-pearl-inlaid hardwood screen

Each of the four panels depict partnered birds sitting on various tree branches together; below these scenes are simplistic floral sprays with insect motifs. Reverse with inscription to upper panels and 'hundred antiques' motifs to lower panels.

Provenance: Private collection, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Lot 323, Lot 442 to 456, and Lot 500 to 508 are from the same collector.

Condition
With areas of lacquer cracking and wear; chipping and wood loss to frames. Minor area of cracking to inlaid mother of pearl.
