A Chinese jade and pewter encased zisha teapot

by Fan Luzeng (Chinese, 19th century)

Of octagonal shape with jade mounted knob, spout and handle. With impressed Fan Luzeng Zhi four-character mark to interior center.

H: 3 3/4, W: 6 1/8, D: 3 3/8 in. (H: 9.53, W: 15.56, D: 8.57 cm.)

Provenance: Private collection, Sacramento, California.

Condition
With old chip and minor denting to lid, two cracks to interior wall, and use wear throughout.
