Description
The chain of destruction in front of the pub begins with the black man grabbing the breasts of the maid and ends with a child eating food that spilled onto the street. This engraving was published in 1807. The original was by William Hogart and the engraving was done by Thomas cook in 1797. The framed engraving is approx 11 5/8" x 5/8" x 13 3/4" and it weighs 1.48lb. The print is approx 6" x 7". The framed print is in a good, vintage condition with loss of color/wear on the frame, markings on the matting, and some discoloration on the print.
