Hurley Conklin (1913-1983) - Manahawkin, NJ c.1950's -17" long - Early pre-brand hollow carved decoy in a forward swimming position with a rare open mouth. The wing tip edges are slightly raised. Bears the Noyes Museum (Oceanville, NJ) ink stamp on the bottom and is struck numerous times SGH for Sommers G Headly. - Condition: Original with light wear and a small chip in the tail. - Provenance: Noyes Museum, Sommers Headly, Private Collection, NJ
