Bronze sculpture of a cossack on horseback by Italian artist Giuseppe Vasari (1934 - 2005). The artist's name appears on the right boot. Marble base. Disc on bottom of base reads: "Made in Italy 179 / 250 U.S.A." Height with base: 9". Base is 5-1/8" x 5-1/8". 8.7 pounds (3.9 kg). The statue is loose, and has spent time rotating on the base, based on the wear on the base at the point of attachment.
