Description
Allied Safe Conduct Pass leaflet dropped on German soldiers. Written in German and English the pass reads, 'The German soldier who carries this safe conduct is using it as a sign of his genuine wish to give himself up...[He is] to receive food and medical attention as required, and to be removed from the danger zone as soon as possible.' Pass bears two printed signatures of Supreme Commander Dwight Eisenhower and verso lists the rules for prisoners of war under the Geneva Convention. 8.5 x 5.25 inches.
