Vitrine: A glass showcase or cabinet, especially for displaying fine wares or specimens. Small glass and walnut cabinet, velvet lined w/ glass shelves. The outside of the cabinet features a painted 18th century courtship scene encompassing the front and both side panels, as well as scroll carved cabriole legs, and an asymmetrical shell and scroll carved serpentine pediment.

There is minor wear to the finish in areas, material remaining in carved crevices from polishing. Velvet is discolored slightly fraying on inside bottom, velvet insert and braided string on the inside of the door are loose. Key is present but doesn't activate lock.
