Description
Chinese Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Enameled Porcelain Wall Vase with a Landscape to the front body and Lotus to the neck, the sides with a ground of iron red "coral" color with gilt scrolling flowers and a pair of Dragon Handles applied to the neck, the flat back with small spur marks from the firing, a depression with 2 holes for suspension and covered in imitation burl wood painting, the small recessed base with 4 character Qianlong seal mark in a horizontal line and 2 original holes now with silk tassels; Chinese silk storage box. Height of porcelain 7 1/2 inches (19 cm.).
Condition
Light age related wear to enamels and gilding, the right handle chipped at top, a tiny flake to edge of left handle with 2 or 3 tiny flakes to back left edge.
