Rare Chinese Qing Dynasty Court Hat Finial with coral and seed pearls sewn over a top knot affixed to a wire-work gilt bronze base with screw to bottom with facing gilt Dragons in wire work inlaid with 1 small green Jadeite, 1 pink tourmaline, etc. and a row of turquoise under the top knot; in old Chinese storage box covered with an embroidery fragment with laid gold wrapped thread ground. Height 1 7/8 inches (4.7 cm.).
