British antique silver Sterling silver sifter spoon
This is a very cute sterling silver antique spoon.A silverware called a sifter spoon was made to pour sugar, which was once a valuable item, onto pies and fruit.The flower pattern watermark is very delicate and beautiful.You can also feel the playfulness in the curve of the ball part.It is a small size that is easy to use.It seems to be useful for serving dishes and desserts.This is a valuable antique silverware with a history of 175 years, made in London, England in 1845.It is a very well-preserved item that does not look old.When you pick it up, it has a nice weight to it.It is carefully crafted using plenty of silver, and you can tell that it is an item that has been passed down with care.It is 92.5% pure sterling silver.It has a stamp of a walking lion on it.There is a stamp with the workshop name "EE".This spoon also has a duty mark (tax collection confirmation stamp) engraved only on silverware made between 1784 and 1890.There are a few small scratches and dark spots, but it is in very good condition with no noticeable damage. It also has a lot of shine.
