The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuittons trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monograms traditional look is also endured by its durability.



The exterior coated canvas has rubbing at the bottom corners and there are white spots throughout. The trim and handles have developed a dark patina with rubbing and soiling at the bottom corners. The trim shows water spots. The handles have darkened from use and is soiled and the leather has softened. The hardware has surface scratches but remains bright. The interior lining has stains, soiling, spots and signs of use throughout.
