Wendell M. Rogers (1890 - 1973) Oil on canvas, signed lower left, measures 22 x 30 inches and 28 x 36 inches with custom gilt frame. Rogers was an American painter who was born in 1890. Wendell M. Rogers was born in South Orleans, Massachusetts, and grew up in Worcester. Artist studied at the Scott Carbee School of Art, Boston. After the 1929 Depression he moved to Cape Cod where he had a studio and a house in Chatham.
