This 1885-CC Silver Morgan Dollar, part of the 1972 GSA Hoard. Although this coin is ungraded all GSA hoard Morgan-CC dollars is in the MS condition (see images) and comes with the presentation box and info card and would make an impressive gift or addition to any fine collection. Some shelf wear to the box and the card.
This Silver 1885-CC Morgan Dollar is an early issue of one of the most popular coins in American history. Its ''CC'' mint mark indicates that it was struck at the Carson City Mint. As with other Morgans, this coin was struck from .900 fine silver and has an actual silver weight of .7734 troy oz. It is a great choice for collectors looking for an affordable uncirculated Morgan.
Iconic Liberty design by George T. Morgan
The designer of this famous coin is George T. Morgan, from whom it gets its name. On the obverse is his widely recognized portrait of Liberty. He shows the figure in a left-side portrait.
