*Gold filled is sometimes written as "O.G.F" but we are not sure what "O" means.

*Used B+ as an antique
*Even if you look at it as an old watch there are a few scratches but I think it has retained its charm as an old watch.
*The gold plating shows some wear and peeling in some places but considering it's an old watch I don't think it's unsightly.
*I think the plastic windshield is in good condition.
*I think the dial and hands are in good condition considering the age but the letters etc. are faded.
*When winding the mainspring there is sometimes a clicking sound. This is a symptom sometimes seen in older watches. I don't think there will be any practical problems if you only use it occasionally. If you use it every day your symptoms may gradually worsen.
*The movement appears to be in good condition.

*Although there is no fast-advance mechanism the date can be advanced by repeatedly moving the hands forward and backward between 8:00 pm and 0:00 pm.
*Orient's triangular watch seems to have a design that was strongly influenced by Hamilton's Ventura (the world's first battery-operated wristwatch released in 1957). However I don't think it feels like a surprisingly easy impersonation.
It is well made and is a watch that is worth seeing.
*Maybe Orient's designers at the time were inspired by the Hamilton Ventura and tried a new case shape that was neither round nor tonneau nor square but triangular.
*By the way although the Hamilton "Ventura" was battery-powered it was not a quartz watch but an electromagnetic balance which is an unusual drive method. The electromagnetic balance type is a system in which the balance works like a step motor.
The movement looks like a mechanical movement with a battery in it.
*There are various types of Orient triangular clocks. The release date is said to be around 1961. There is a model that does not have an earthquake-proof device and has a screw balance but I think this is probably the earliest model.
This individual has a smooth temp with an earthquake-proof device so it may have been manufactured around 1963 or later.
