Plaster Fragment Figure. In the style of Henry Moore (1898 - 1986). The sculpture is a fragment of a larger figure, with the head and torso missing. It is in a reclining position, with the legs and feet visible. The sculpture is painted in a pale green color, with darker green accents. The sculpture is in the artist’s signature semi-abstract style, which is characterized by organic forms and shapes that are often inspired by nature. "No XVID" carved on bottom of wood base. Sticker on bottom of base reads "Fragment Figure, 1957. Archive 0054008". H: 15 cm W: 16 cm, 1.092 g. Henry Moore’s works have been exhibited in many galleries and museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Denver Art Museum, General Motors Institute, Kunstlerhaus, Vienna, Austria, and Musee de I’Affiche et la Publicite, Paris, France.
