SST/SST. A collection of two Hires Root Beer embossed tin chalkboard signs. CONDITION: (A) The sign has fair color and gloss throughout with very minor fade to the gloss in the raised lettering. The sign has multiple areas of surface scratching and one notable scratch with paint loss in the chalkboard section of the piece. The outer edges also have minor areas of paint loss and surface staining. (8.9). (B) The sign has significant fade throughout the center of the piece, as well as areas of surface staining and significant surface scratching throughout the advertising panel and on the raised lettering. The chalkboard section has areas of paint loss and an added hole. The outer edges of the piece show damage at all hanging holes and around the outer edges, most notably the bottom right-hand corner.
