A PAIR OF PAINTED POTTERY MODELS OF CAMELS AND FOREIGN MERCHANT RIDERS
Tang Dynasty
Each camel modelled kneeling on the forelegs, with the rear legs raised, the rider seated on a fringed saddle cloth, wearing a tunic and tall hat, decorated in red, white and black pigments, wood stands.
