(Disneyland, 1990s) A beautiful and one-of-a-kind replica of the model of the Astro Jets and PeopleMover attractions as they appeared in the New Tomorrowland of 1967. The Astro-Jets were the centerpiece of New Tomorrowland, with the PeopleMover carrying Guests on a full circuit tour of the land. The scale model is faithful to the original designs and made predominantly of plastic, wood, foam core, and faux foliage. The model features over 60 plastic people figures and 34 PeopleMover cars, and is affixed to a wooden display base in two pieces. While this is not an Imagineering original model, it was obtained from the family of an Imagineer, and truly shows a superb level of accuracy and attention to detail. Measuring 48” x 86” x 27” tall fully assembled, this loyal replica of the historic Disneyland attractions is in very good condition, with expected wear to materials from handling and age.
