larger height to base of fitment 15 3/4in (40cm); width 7 1/4in (18.5cm); depth 7in (18cm)
Footnote:
This model columnar lamp was used by Elkins in the Santa Anita Park Directors Room (see S. Powell, Frances Elkins: Visionary American Designer, New York, 2023, p. 285.
Another example of the columnar lamp was sold Property from the Estate of Katherine Elkins Boyd, including designs of Frances Adler Elkins, Bonhams, San Francisco, 11 December 2011, lot 5669.
Condition
General marks, scratches, rubbing, scuffs and wear. Foliate pair with chipped losses to bases. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
