Description
(Disney, 1946) An exceptional original production cel of Br'er Rabbit from "Song of the South" in a mat signed by Walt Disney. The cels of Br'er Rabbit and the falling leaves were trimmed to image and applied to an airbrushed background at the Studio. Walt inscribed the mat “To Charles Boasburg, Best wishes, Walt Disney,” in red crayon. Measuring 7.75” x 9” on a 14.75” x 15.75” mat, the cel is in good condition with browning to the mat from age, edge wear, and small spots of light flaking and paint separation to the cel. A certificate of authenticity from Phil Sears Collectibles is included.
