(Disney, 1942) A hand-painted limited-edition cel of Donald Duck and a bee from Disney's 1942 feature film, "Saludos Amigos." During wartime, with Disney Studio production slowing down, Courvoisier experimented with creating limited-edition cels for release to the public. Only a handful of images were made, and by the mid-1940s they were no longer being produced. This cel was produced in a limited edition of 250. Donald has an image size of 4” x 4.5” and the bee measures 0.5” x 1”, both in fine condition with an airbrushed background. The entire piece measures 6.5” x 7.5” with a 13” x 14.5” mat.
