(Bibo-Lang, 1930) A Rare "Mickey Mouse Book" originally published for distribution through movie theatres. Considered the first Mickey Mouse book, it includes the story of Mickey Mouse, a Mickey Mouse Game, Mickey Mouse March and the song “Mickey Mouse (‘You Cute Little Feller’)” with accompanying arrangement for the ukulele. The story was written by the 11 year-old daughter of the publisher, Bobette Bibo. The book became so popular that it was reprinted many times starting in late 1930. This copy is a later printing, featuring a Mickey daily strip on the reverse, and "printed in U.S.A." on the cover. Measuring 9"x12", the book is in good condition exhibiting coloring on each page, scuffs, soiling, discoloration, and wear throughout. It is missing the cutout page from the center of the book.
