A pair of George III brass bound mahogany oyster pails
late 18th century
With brass liners.
height to top of handle 19in (48cm); width 12 1/2in (32cm); depth 10in (25.5cm)

Condition

General marks, nicks, scratches, separation to staves, fading and wear. Timber blanched due to use of brass polish. Polish residue to crevices. One liner with heavy dings and a soldered crack near rim as visible in catalogue photos.
