Publisher's pictorially gilt-stamped vellum, retaining the upper silk tie, top edge gilt, housed in a cloth case. 11 x 8 1/2 inches (27.75 x 21.5 cm); x, 69, [3] pp., with half-title, frontispiece and 49 color printed plates tipped in under captioned tissue guards, title page vignette, tail-piece. An attractive copy with light wear to the vellum, the boards splayed as usual, lacking the rear silk tie, front endpaper with small ink stain bleeding through to the half-title, faint offsetting to title.
